My aunt helped me get out of my abusive relationship of 3 years. I called her one morning, I remember sobbing on the floor of my new apartment the morning after my ex and I had a huge fight. He backhanded me, punched my back, broke my glasses and I fought back defending myself but did some things I would never dream of doing. I had hit rock bottom and didn’t know who else to call. My parents wouldn’t understand and something just told me to call her. She was at my apartment within an hour, helped me clean the blood and get my stuff packed up. Took me to the police station to file a report and get pictures of my body and bruises. Took me to the courthouse the next day to file charges and for a protective order. Helped me look for a new apartment and gave me a bunch of resources that helped me get through that tough time. Let me sleep at her house for a week while I found a new place to live. She was with me every step of the way and she didn’t rat me out to my parents. She let me tell them when I was ready. She was truly my guardian angel and helped me though so much. I am so grateful for her. 😭 I honestly don’t know where I would be without her.

I quit my job to become a full time student and have been running low on my savings. My best friend was leaving money hidden around my room until I finally caught her! Although my pride didn’t want her help.. at times that money I found really came in handy and I knew it made her feel good to help me. Im so thankful for her 🧡✨

My mom has been taking care ofme since second trimester. My son is 16 weeks now. Everything from breakfast at 6 am to staying with me in hospital to driving me around. She also took a leave from job to be with me full time. She's als buying stuff for baby. It's so disheartening that I will have to move in with my in laws to another city. I already miss her.

The day before thanksgiving in 2014 was a really rough day for me. Nothing serious happened, but a bunch of shit was just adding up. I was running late to work and I BARELY missed the light. I literally burst into tears. The guy in the car next to me saw me, got out of his car, and gave my flowers. He told me he hoped my day got better ❤️ so sweet
