Where do I start studying the bible

I'm a Christian (Catholic) and I would like to begin studying the Bible. I know there's a LOT of different books where do I begin.

Proverbs or Job are both the most beautiful books that I found there is. For new or long-time Christian

Proverbs is good because there’s 31 chapters and you can read a chapter every day of the month

I would suggest in Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, or Colossians. Those books are packed full of promises and commandments.

Download the YouVersion Bible app and look for the different bible studies - they have a lot of good topics, even ones for pregnancy. Reading the studies may point you to books of the Bible you will enjoy reading in their entirety. I personally like Philippians, Gospel of John, and James for reading over anytime.

Easiest is probably to do the new testament in order and then the old testament in order. That's what we do with the kids in school. Of course you can jump around to whatever interests you or skip and return later for stuff that's difficult.

I've always started at the beginning but it's whatever works for you.  You may do better to start with a book that draws your interest.  I'm personally fond of Genesis, Judges, Ruth, Daniel and the Gospels.

I had this awesome NKJ bible that walks you through where to study . So it’s it’s dec 2nd you read like 3 verses from exodus and there is a new one everyday for a year and you read the whole thing buy the end . I found it a chapters
