Anyone been prescribed glyburide?

If so, what were your side effects? Doctor prescribed it for me today. 31 weeks...

I’ve been on 5mg at bedtime since 20 weeks. I’m a type 2 diabetic and needed a little boost to keep my fastings down. The OBGYN’s I work for prescribe this all the time and I’ve never seen it affect a baby in my years of working there. Some docs jump straight to insulin and some start with orals. 
I sometimes wake up and am low, like 45-50. I usually eat a bowl of cereal and go back to bed. Other than that, I haven’t noticed any effects.

I took it with my first. The only side effect I had was low blood sugar (dizzy, shaky) after my AM dose if I didn't eat a big enough bfast. But once I ate something I was fine. I just had to find the right balance of food/amount

Did you start the Glyburide? If so how much? I have just started and am a bit nervous about being on it? Was everything ok with your baby?

I took it only at nighttime and I didn’t have any side effects . My daughter just turned 1 and is happy and healthy.
She also was not born diabetic and I no longer am as well.
