Hoping for a girl ❤️

I’m 16 weeks along today and my next appointment will be at 17+3 I think. And then the next day I’m off to Texas for a week to visit my dad. I’m hoping the doctor will be able to tell us the gender that day so I can surprise my dad and my friends with the news.

I’m really praying for a girl. Like my heart is racing and I have tears thinking about it. Of course if it’s a boy I’ll still be happy. But the reason I want a girl so badly is because my dad wasn’t around when my sister and I were growing up and I have the most incredible bond with my mother. I love her more than anyone else on this earth. I just really want to have a girl so I can have that same mother-daughter bond 😢
