Cramps and BC

I’m on the depo Shot and have been for 9 months. Towards the end of the shots “life” I get my period for maybe 2-4 weeks before I get another shot. This is my 3rd time getting my period and I’m not supposed to get another one till next Wednesday however I’m switching over to the implant. Anyway, this time around my cramps are really starting to hurt me. They’re more noticeable and definitely cause me to make a face and put pressure on the spot if it hurts that bad. Is this normal for them to hurt because I haven’t had a period in 2 months or if it continues, should I talk to my doctor? Yesterday I had cramps but they weren’t as bad, today they’re hurting and I have to apply pressure and I make that face as if I im in pain and I am.
