Birth control and weight gain?

I started taking Aviane about 3 months ago for the purpose of clearing my skin. The first month was horrible with breakouts but that has since subsided; however I don’t feel like my skin is any better than before taking it.

I feel like now I’m noticing rapid weight gain. I work out regularly and have a healthy diet but my stomach is losing its definition and becoming flabby + I’ve gained about 6-7 pounds already.

Has anyone else experienced this?? I’m seriously thinking of stopping BC before it gets any worse.
