SO To Doc Appt?

Do most people bring their SO to the first doc appt where they confirm your pregnant? Is it that appt where they do an ultrasound or is that at the 2nd appt?

You can always ask what they’ll do and bring him for support if need be.  I know some women struggle with blood tests.

I’ve always had a blood test done.  I did have an ultrasound with the first at 8 weeks for dates (got pregnant the first cycle after a miscarriage) and at 6 weeks with the second because of ovarian cysts.  I don’t know how common early ultrasounds are now.

It depends on the dr office. My obstetrician doesn’t do I. Office ultrasounds so majority of my ob appointments my hubby hasn’t gone to as there hasn’t been a reason for him to go. I would call and find out what is find at the first appointment and make a decision from there
