Almost 16 month old not eating

Anyone dealing with or have dealt with an almost 16 month old not eating? My son will be 16 months on the 9th and pretty much every since we introduced food (including baby food) he has not wanted to eat😩

he will only eat a couple of bites of food at the very most and I have tried absolutely everything, I swear 😩

Sometimes he will start doing better for a week or two then just stops again...

We plan to talk to his ped about it tomorrow at his appointment but I'm just wondering if anyone has ever gone through this or is going through this and what you did/are doing?

Would a multivitamin maybe help?

We are really at a loss here 😭 you can tell he's hungry but just won't eat food , we are currently still giving a little formula during the day but that's after we try food 😭...
