Depends when you ovulate. I've had positive OPKs on CD 8 before. Which is legit the day after my period ends. Other cycles its CD 12, or CD 15, or CD 22. It's never the same day for me from cycle to cycle. But I also surge without releasing an egg a lot because I only have one ovary. Anyways point is if you have sex on cycle day 5, while still bleeding, it could be possible to ovulate on cycle day 8 and potentially have it result in pregnancy.
