Yes, it's so sad! I felt like I kind of had to grieve over a couple names and was in denial for a long time. I kept bringing them back up hoping that maybe he would change his mind 😩

Nope. I gave my daughter the name I wanted even when my partner didn't like it, I went through all the hard parts to make and have the baby, I get final say. He loves it now 😉😉.

So our 3rd and last baby boys name is Rhett Larkon. So my 1st boy we knew was going to be named after his father. Our second I wanted Larkon sooooo bad and he would not give in! This time I wouldn't give up!! I gave him like 10 names that sounded good with Larkon and let him pick his favorite! Which just so happened to be in my top 3 so it was perfect and now that he's here it fits him so we'll!!

Yes 😭 my mother’s first child, my big brother, passed away a few months after being born and I have always wanted to use his first name (Jason) as my sons middle name. But my Fiancé’s brother is called Jason and he doesn’t like the idea of having family names as his sons. I’m devastated.

Yup. I picked my name out when I was 17 or 18 and I’m almost 28 now... husband says he will never ever name his kid that in a million years.

Yes! I want to give a daughter the middle name Magda/Magdalina and my husband keeps vetoing it. I'm so sad! I love it but wouldn't do it as a first name. It's also a family name and means a lot to me but he hates it 😔
