How do you stay protected when cuddling?

I am currently in my first real relationship & i hate sleeping with my boyfriend while im on my period.... only because my worst fear is bleeding thru my clothes💔 any suggestions?!

Just do what you usually do- wear a pad/ tampon or cup and if you’re really that nervous maybe wear a tampon and a pad at the same time? But even if you do bleed through he should be understanding- it can seem embarrassing but it’s only natural and you don’t have control over it- it’s gonna happen eventually either with him or someone else down the line. If he complains about it or gets upset that’s his problem

I wear my period pants - which are thick/fluffy black Fleece like PJ’s. They’re super comfy and since they’re dark nothing will show up if I leak lol. But I also wear overnight pads and sometimes a tampon, depending on how heavy my flow is.

I got a towel underneath me.. Did that since i was a teenager and now im married and when on my period my husband will sometimes prepare it for me 😅 I sleep more peacefully when I know that even if it goes through, it won't do any damage to the mattress.

I always tell my boyfriend beforehand so he knows and is well aware but I won’t say it hasn’t happened before lol. My boyfriend isn’t the kind of guy to get weirded or grossed out by it. He handles it well and like a man lol. I think you’ll be okay though

Use a pad or tampon, where some thick under wear and some sweat pants and try not to worry about it.
But honestly I have bled on multiple ex,s beds and even on their sweatpants (if they let me sleep in them). But they have all been so understanding and kind about it! Most guys understand that periods happen, and they won’t get upset.
