Question about GD

So last week I failed my 1 hour glucose by 10 points. Not much from what I understand. But my midwife is sending me to nutrition at maternal fetal medicine for a class. She says she won’t do the 3 hour bc my A1C was perfect? Should I request the 3 hour? I thought that was protocol if you failed the 1 hour by a certain amount that you do the 3 hour to positively diagnose you with gestational diabetes? I’ve never had it and I don’t have any symptoms of it either🤷🏼‍♀️ And suggestions, or what is experience with this? Thank you!
