Progesterone oral or vaginal?

I had my iui done and doc gave me a script for progesterone and told me that I would insert vaginally however,when I filled the script,it says oral. I will be calling tomorrow though. I didn’t have to take it the last iui and my lining is really good but she said it can’t hurt.🤷🏽‍♀️

I had the same thing ..... my script said oral but the doctor said take it vaginally. I’ve been taking it vaginally for almost 2 weeks now.

Mine is vaginally just once a day. I also take estrogen vaginally once a day as well. My IUI was on Monday and when we did the ultrasound that Friday prior, my lining was thin so hopefully this is all helping. 
My insurance didnt cover it (but they covered everything else which is strange) so I had to pay 105 and it had to come from a special pharmacy.

Its for both. You can take it from oral administration or vaginal. Doctor perscribet you vaginal,the same i am taking right now twice a day.

Same here - I didn’t have to take it the first time around but am this cycle. Mine is like a gel that is inserted vaginally through an applicator.
