Post Delivery Alone?

Question

Long story short, after our c section in April, my husband will be coming back home at nights to care for our 2YO. He’ll be in daycare in the day, so hubs will be able to be with me then. (Family is not an option for us)
Has anyone gone through recovering at the hospital alone? Specifically at night? I know there are nurses 24/7. Just trying to get some perspective. I couldn’t move much after my first csection. Thanks!!

Yes. When I had my twins by c-section my then husband had to go home to look after our daughter (2yo). He wasn't able to stay overnight at the hospital anyway.
The first 24 hours I was pretty immobile so had to buzz the nurses when I needed the babies passed to me - they were very quick to respond. By 8pm the night shift had turned up including a lovely HCA who was assigned to me and the babies - she spent most of the evening in my room chatting away to me, helping me with the babies, letting me snooze here and the.
She was an amazing lady. We were there for 5 days as one of my twins wasn't putting on weight as fast as they wanted and the other one failed his hearing test. She came to my room every evening we were there, even though I was able to move around by the end of the second day. 
I must admit it was one thing that scared me a little - I knew o had to have a c-section bc they were breach, but knew that meant I wouldn't be up and about quickly - but I needn't have worried.

Our hospital doesn't allow husbands or partners to stay over night anyway.
