Work stress

So I’ve been trying to conceive since my miscarriage, my manager is now out of work for 8 weeks and I’m already the assistant. So they put me as acting manager doing everything she does and getting paid shit to run a whole store, should i ask to be compensated for these 8 weeks, This has been so stressful. I’ve been with the company for 6 years. And they want me as “ acting manager” at my shit pay of $11.25. $11.25!!!!! To run a store!!!
