My period is a day late. Should I be worried?

I’m a day late for my period and I’m worried it might mean I’m pregnant. My boyfriend and I sometimes start without protection and precum pregnancy is very much a thing. Am I just over reacting and freaking out about nothing? My cycle may have been changed because a new girl started at my work and another coworker is pregnant, does that make sense? Anyways I need some level headed opinions. ( I have not told my boyfriend I’m late)

If you're panicking this much over 1 day, you should really stop and reconsider how you're having sex and what protection you're using. It's very common for periods to not come exactly on time. You seem like a pretty informed person, but if the level of protection you're using is not enough for your peace of mind, it's time to make changes.

I wouldn't worry just yet. New girl may have messed with your cycle or stress, heavy exercise, ect. If it don't show in a week then I would definitely start testing.
