Im still new to pregnancy and im not sure what braxton hicks feel like. I woke up this morning with terrible back and stomach pain im not sure if its braxton hicks but the pain is killing me im literally crying in pain.

Braxton Hicks can be very painful at the same time if your stomach is tightening up and if you decide to move around and drink water they are supposed to subside if not then maybe you are having real contractions you need to call your OB doctor or call the hospital

If your doctor isn’t answering you need to go to L&D immediately. If it’s constant and is not tightening it doesn’t sound like Braxton Hicks or Labor. Contractions come and go until you hit a certain dilation (this does vary woman to woman and is also based on your pain tolerance) but constant pain and stabbing pains could be placental abruption and you need to go to the hospital immediately.

Thank you everyone, i spoke to a nurse in my husbands family and i was told it might be ligament pain and go to the hospital just in case unfortunately i have my nephew with me and theres no one to take care of him. I fell asleep because i felt super fatigued i feel better now the pain is still slightly there but it is not as bad. I will go to urgent care after they pick up my nephew. Thank you for your suggestions.
