The day AF started was the day we flew back home from Wisconsin to California. Our flight landed late in San Diego around 11:15pm. We didn’t pay to park our car there so we called an Uber to pick us up. Got home closer to midnight and so ready to sleep in my own bed! We didn’t bring our car keys because we didn’t need them and didn’t want to lose them. The house we rent has a keypad for keyless entry where you enter a code. I enter code and it doesn’t open and flashes red. Tried again, no luck. This is the only way in and we are locked out. Obviously this is not ideal...on top of it, now our alarm system inside is going off because it thinks someone is breaking in. Hubby tried to see if any windows are available to crawl in, none. We call our landlord like 8 million times and no answer. They don’t live locally and are on east coast. We tried calling some locksmiths that were 24/7 access and no one was available to help us. It was about 40 degrees outside and our poor child is asleep in car seat in the driveway all bundled up 😭 so now we are calling hotels because we can’t stay outside until morning like this. We don’t have any family or friends nearby to help us and I doubt anyone would’ve answered their phones at 2am. We find a hotel. Book it. Now we have to call another uber. We finally got to sleep around 2:30am (which was really 4:30am if we were still on Wisconsin time).

Early morning my landlord texts and tells us a locksmith is our only option and told us that it’s always recommended to carry a spare house key in cAse of emergency. 🙄🙄🙄THANK YOU CAPTAIN OBVIOUS.

The keypad just needs new batteries so it’s an easy fix. Anyways she says she called a locksmith and they will be over to house in 25 min. This was 7:30am. So we quick packed up, checkout out, called ANOTHR uber, and got home.

The locksmith was here for 3 minutes and it costed $230 😱😓😓😓🤬 a hotel, 2 extra Uber rides, and a locksmith and about $400 down the drain because of a stupid mistake. We only have one key but I tried making duplicates and no where has this type of key to cut. As in, wed have to go back to locksmith and they could make more keys. Yup, that’s a big hell no from me 🙋🏻‍♀️ so we have one and we will hide it outside or something.

So yesterday i didn’t temp because I had about 3 hours of sleep. And I started clomid again last night (days 2-6), and my temp was super high this morning. Maybe I was hot, maybe it’s the meds. Doesn’t matter at this point of cycle anyway.

If you’re still reading this, you’re a champ. On top of it, my daughter and i are also getting sick. My head feels heavy, and my nose won’t stop running 🤧😷 hopefully it passes quick!

None the less, happy to be back home in our normal routine.
