Who's had gallstones?

Question

Did anyone get gallstones due to pregnancy  (or even not due to pregnancy)? If yes, how was it resolved  (surgery, removal, resolved itself etc). I went to the dr for it today and have to do some testing, but wanted to hear others' experiences. My symptoms started when I was about 6 months pregnant, but my baby is now 7 months old and I'm still having issues.

Yes I did. I had them in my teens, and every month I did a gall bladder cleanse I got from a doctor. They say you can’t get rid of gallstones, but this doctor believes you could(and yes, I passed some every time I did a gallbladder cleanse, they look like shards of dark green glass). It’s not an extra part, it has a purpose, so if you can do a cleanse it WILL help. Everyone I know who I told about it and they did it got rid of them. It’s a juice fast basically. 3 days on just apple juice and water. On the 3rd night you drink 1/4-1/2C of extra virgin olive oil(the dark green stuff), and the juice of 1/2 a lemon and sleep on your right side. The next day you will start passing them. And it feels weird that night you drink the oil. Feels like bubbles in your upper right hand quadrant. It seriously works!

Last year I had five gallstones 3 on my left 2  on my right side I forgot what medication but it was a pill to dissolve them I went back three weeks later and they were gone but they where also very small

I first got symptoms when I was 25 weeks pregnant it only happened twice so I thought it was nothing then 3 weeks after I had my son the pain started again I ended up in an ambulance twice in 3 days after having an ultrasound they found HUNDREDS of tiny stones in there apparently it's quite common in pregnant women I had my gallbladder removed 2 weeks ago I had the option of controlling it with diet but tbh I never want to feel that pain again

Mine was removed four years ago, I was so sick. Diarrhea, vomiting, pain!!! So much pain. I had been to the ER multiple times for months before they finally figured out the issue.

I had mine removed nov 2017. I didnt have gallstones. I just had a non functioning gall bladder that caused attacks. It's a million times better since

My gall bladder was filled with stones pre-pregnancy.  They often don’t pass like a kidney stone would so surgery was my only option.  I had mine removed in 2015... so not due to pregnancy.
