Anxiety ?

Hey guys just curious question? 
Anyone else notice their hormones and emotions seem to be increasing being 18weeks? 
I am having the same symptoms of anxiety and emotions. If not stronger, than my first pregnancy. It happened about the same time as well. 
Anyone have increased or stronger anxiety from GAD while pregnant? For some reason this is me and it created many problems last birthing process /end of pregnancy causing a lot of strain and fear. I don’t want to go through it all again. So I’m personally worried and scared. Not sure how to work this out !!

I have GAD as well and I’ve noticed a pretty big upswing. I’ll have the old familiar sign that I’m going to have a panic attack, the hot tingling sensation on the back of my neck show up at random times, like no trigger at all. Heck the last one was during thanksgiving dinner! I’ve just tried to breathe myself through it. Ground myself. I don’t like to be touched when I’m feeling panicky so my husband knows to just reassure me and talk to me but I have found stepping outside and getting a jolt of cool air sometimes helps me to come back around. I’m sorry you’re getting hit so hard, you’re not alone.💕

I’m 16w and I’ve noticed my anxiety and emotions heightened. This isn’t something I normally struggle with but I’m a SAHM and starting to recognize that anxiety is in fact becoming an issue for me. My horomones were crazy from week 5-9, and now they are back with a vengeance at 16w. I’ve had to control my breathing from going into hyperventilating and broke down crying in a panic for no reason. I don’t have advice, except for listening to music and writing through it. Good luck to you! 🤗🤗

Yes! Me! I’ve been extra emotional and a lot of anxiety and just throughts running through my head like crazy. I’m trying not to let myself spiral, not let it get to me. Knowing it’s truly the pregnancy making me feel like this helps me separate it. But so,times I need a good cry and then I just shake it off and try to keep going. Sometimes I cry into my husbands chest for no reason and he just holds me and I feel better. I started taking macca root though, I used to to help me with my pms symptoms in the past. And that has been helping me a ton! It’s a natural hormone balancer. Worth a try!

I’ve had anxiety since 2015 so being pregnant this time they put me on an anxiety med it’s helped so much I’m not worried like I always was before and no more panic attacks thank the good Lord

Me! I just wrote a post about being overwhelmed. Just seems like when stress gets high, I can't handle it like I used to. I've been having to try sooooo hard to do diaphragmatic breathing or meditative breathing to calm me down but it's soooo hard. And then I'm super emotional too so I cry at everything. It's a lot of crazy emotions this time, more so than with my first pregnancy.

Surprisingly no, my anxiety has decreased. I have also cut out nearly all caffeine which has been a trigger for me historically, and have a coffee maybe once a week now. I’ve also been leading a relatively boring life since becoming pregnant (minus work travel) to reduce my stress overall. Staying in more, having fewer obligations.
