Clingy. Is there really a such thing as clingy?
Is it really a reason to break up with someone? Thoughts?

There were a few reasons I left my ex— absolutely that being one of them. It leads to jealousy, and he was already very insecure. But to react that way when I wanted to hang out with girlfriends?? YES.    I said goodbye and ever looked back!     
   I then met Blake and we’ve been together for 7 years, (married for 4) and expecting our son March 2019!

Yes there is. Clingy can turn into other things. But if it is just a little clingy they might just need to be told to give you a little space

I feel like there are different types of clingy. Personally, I think that clingy can come from jealously, not trusting your partner, and insecurities. That’s a reason one of my relationships failed. I got cheated on and should’ve left then but I decided to try to work it out. The insecurity came first because I always wondered what that girl had that I didnt. Then came the jealously of not knowing. Then it was the not being able to trust. I was always asking questions and wondering who he was with and where. I was jealous of any female. And on top of it all, I was pretty attention based, so I always wanted to talk or spend time with him and I got kinda pushed out until I pushed too far. Clingy can turn toxic. It isn’t very healthy.
