I've been reading different articles online about delaying cord clamping. And it seems like a viable option. But I would just like a few more opinions to see what everyone here thinks.

It’s standard practice to do delayed cord clamping. Regardless if it was or not it’s a pretty obvious answer.

I had a c section with my first and again now with my second. My OB does a minute delayed as standard protocol.

I had wanted delayed cord clamping, but due to a csection and my son having to be monitored for his breathing I did not get it.

Delayed 100%. But I think a lotus birth (keeping the placenta attached to the baby til it falls off) is stupid. The placenta is rotting flesh and if that’s attached to the baby it can cause an infection quick. But delayed cord clamping is essential bc that’s 1/3 of baby’s blood still out of the body and they need that!!

It’s standard to do delayed where I live. They wait until the cord stops pulsating because of the benefits.
