Any recommendations for pregnant lady to loose weight while pregnant?Thanks in advance!

Losing weight if obese is fine, there are numerous recent studies conducted about obese and morbidly obese pregnancies. 🙄 These women have less complications and babies were healthier if the women maintained (which is technically losing, as you’re putting on 20 pounds of baby + blood, placenta, etc) or lost weight. My doctor told me don’t count calories, or push yourself too hard: but making healthy food choices (limiting sugar intake, no sodas, tons of veggies and protein) and either keeping up my pre-pregnancy workout or starting a program of walking every day and light stretching was good. I’ve lost 5 pounds total at 22w4d and I feel good, baby is perfect size (54%) and very healthy. Be mindful that you don’t go extreme, don’t “diet” or be restrictive, just choose the veggies as snacks and a large portion of your meals, and try to walk at least 30 min a day and honestly you will be golden ✨

Talk to your OB about it. They will give you what's okay and what's not. I was a little chunky going into my pregnancy, high risk also, and mine gave me an okay to do some workouts, none hard impact. I just walk now and have lost about 25 pounds, I'm 28 weeks now. But it's all through the permission of your OB because it might not be safe for you to do so.
