My son is 4 months, and 8 days old. He is a pretty big boy 15lbs 15oz. Last Monday, he got his first cold. It came in full effect on Tuesday. I took him to the dr...they just said common cold. He didn’t run a fever or anything. Anyway, the cold is finally subsiding significantly. But for the past week in a half or so he has been soooo finicky with his bottles. Even before he became sick...which isn’t “normal” for him. He drink 6oz every 3 hours or so. And lately he’ll wake up from a nap, and eat 3-3 1/2 oz. He turns his head back and forth, and puts his hands up. He doesn’t fuss or anything like that. Just really turns his head. I’ve tired upping the nipple size, and that seemed to work for maybe a day then he went right back to doing it. I’ve tried different rooms...and nothing. He normally loves his milk. He’s also been more generally fussier than normal, and sleepier than normal. I’m not sure if that all correlates with the cold even though he’s better....or if I should be concerned. He is generally still happy majority of the time. He goes in for his 4 month shots tomorrow...😰😰 so I will talk to his dr. But just wanted some assurance as to what it may be, or that I’m not the only one going through it!!!
