Stoner boyfriend? Advice needed

I’m seeing this boy who’s 2 years older than me, I’m 17 and he’s 19. I’m in college & he works full time, we’ve been texting for months on end and we are finally meeting up tomorrow.

Only con about him is that he is addicted to weed. He cannot go a few hours without it and he has no aspirations in life. He’s already made it clear if I go to uni after college he cannot be with me because he can’t deal with the distance and he doesn’t like being apart from people.

I used to smoke weed when I was younger, but I stopped around 16 because it made me super depressed and anxious, but I’m worried if I get with him, I will feel pressure to smoke again and even though I love the feeling of being high, I don’t want to go downhill again. I really really like this boy and want to see where things go but I don’t know if it’s a bad idea?
