Anyone else baby pulling away when it’s time to nurse?? But nursing fine in the middle of the nicht

Mine gets distracted mid nurse sometimes and stops to smile at me every 20 seconds. It's cute but frustrating

Nursing strikes usually aren't until after baby's start other foods. Baby's probably just becoming more alert and has fomo (eating isn't fun enough 🙄) my little guy did it for about 2 weeks & now he's doing okay again. See if something helps; using a cover, quite, dark room, while baby is still drowsy from a nap, or even wait a little longer between feedings.

Mine was doing it a few weeks ago. Especially when I tried to feed him after naps. I think it's the age. He's too interested in what's going on around him to eat. And then after the first letdown and milk flow slows he gets impatient. I have to feed him before naps even though that means he usually nurses to sleep. But that's the only time he'll actually eat during the day so that's what we're doing for now.
