Hi ladies! My boyfriend and I are both in college. However, he’s decided that once he gets his bachelor’s he wants to join the marines for 4 years. We’ve been together for 3 years and plan on staying together while he’s in the marines, but we decided that by the time he goes into the military we should get married (will be dating for around 4-5 years by then).

However, what I’m wondering is, could I go with him when he leaves for the marines or would I have to stay here? I’d happily go with him and plan on teaching college online (I would have my master’s by the time he went) as well as possibly teaching on base if that’s even possible.

I would just like to know how this all works. Thanks!
