When to take out nipple piercings

I’m 33 weeks pregnant and I’m super attached to my piercings and I’m not sure when I should take them out so they’ll have time to heal and what not before the baby gets here. Taking out my belly ring killed me a little aha Any other mamas with piercings?

Had mine for years before I got preg and with my first I took my piercings out while in labor because I was told I had to the next day went to put it back and they had already closed got them repierced then found out I was preg with my son so just took em out again and again it closed got them done a THIRD time found out I was preg again and said fuck that look em out as soon as I found out because 1 my nips are super super sensitive now and 2 never wore a bra and my 1 and 2 year old would always snag em at first I was deviated didn’t feel like myself w.o then I mean I’ve had them since hs had no more piercings cuz in labor I had to take out my hoohaa one too (got that one repierced still have it now) but the pain of the nips getting snagged by the kids I couldn’t do it anymore

I took mine out at around 18 weeks. I knew they would have issues healing because they were never right in the first place. Been having weird things discharge when I have colostrum  discharge. Glad I took them out. Going to ask my doc about the discharge

Following. I’m not pregnant now but my SIL just just had her baby and I asked her doctor about it. She said nipple rings didn’t affect breastfeeding or harm the baby and now I’m worried lol

You don’t have to take out your nipple piercings. Only to breastfeed.
