I’m 16w6d and have had 2 prenatal appointments, but during the time of both those appointments I didn’t have insurance. I had been trying for months to get set up on my state’s Medicaid, which you’d think would be easy for a pregnant woman, but nope. Since I didn’t have insurance my OB didn’t wanna do any of the tests or any of the standard stuff because she didn’t wanna give me a huge bill, so she just did the ultrasounds. I was finally approved for insurance yesterday! My next appointment is a week from today, and I’m wondering what kind of tests she’ll do. Can anybody tell me what happens at prenatal appointments besides the ultrasounds?
