I had an all natural vaginal birth. The only thing they gave me was oxygen and I was so euphoric from it that the pain was minimal. The contractions only got painful in the last stage because my water had yet to break. Once they broke the water the pain from the pressure went away. I also stayed as fit as I could during pregnancy so the pushing part went quickly. Granted my kiddo was only 5 lb 6oz.
