What do you feel in 2WW if you are pregnant?

Hello all. 1st post, 1st time TTC, 38 years old, think 2WW is about to end with my period for the 6th month in a row. I've had sharp twingey cramps the past 1-2 weeks and usually have dull period cramps so I thought maybe this is what pregnancy feels like. But today I've had a heavy swollen feeling in my vagina which usually means my period is coming. I'm so frustrated and feel like it'll never happen, then feel a mix of negative things that I can't even articulate about being 38 and trying to get pregnant. I don't feel like an old person but maybe Mother Nature feels differently? Any words of encouragement or descriptions of what your body feels like those first few weeks when pregnant are very much appreciated.
