So I’ve taken it upon myself to get enrolled in school to earn an Associates in Engineering Technology. I have a few reasons behind it but honestly I’m not great at math- even the basics! I’ve worked in manufacturing and love it but they really want the piece of paper to pay you better for work that honestly anyone can be taught. Maybe past that I’d seek out more education and opportunity.
Even the syllabus is stressing me out just looking at it. I just have a very hard time with mathematical comprehension; especially after being out of school for so long. I basically just got pushed through in math classes since high school started for me back in 2010. None of the teachers were willing to sit down with me to help and now I feel trapped by my own stupidity.
I’m a very visual learner and just reading formulas on paper isn’t enough.
Any suggestions to help me be a better student and make up for lost time?
