8 week old and broody?!

So call me crazy but I’ve just had my little boy he’s 8 weeks old and I’m already wanting another one.. is this crazy or normal? I love him and am so happy but I miss having him in my stomach.. I actually miss being pregnant. Is there a right time to start trying again and would I be mad to get pregnant before he turns one?

So normal to feel this way! Postpartum comes with a lot of adjustments, hormones, and changes. I suggest waiting a bit before TTC. You need time to let your body fully heal, let you settle into the role of mom, and enjoy your baby while he’s so little. If, around 6 months to a year PP you want to try again, that’s a healthy range to begin

I was so broody at 8 weeks PP your hormones are whacky! Come 4 months PP I sworn I was never having another!! 
My baby just turned 1 on Monday and I got a BFP this morning! So excited

It depends whether you are breastfeeding or not. If you're breastfeeding, then maybe wait a little bit before you get pregnant again otherwise your first will have to switch to formula.

Medically you should wait like 18 months for things to heal properly. But that’s up to you and your husband.
