Fiance will not do his SA

The first appointment was rescheduled by the clinic. 2nd appointment and his first try he said it didn't work out and I saw he opened container so he did try but got nothing in cup to turn in. I am not upset about that. Next appointment is Monday morning at a time when he can leave work (he owns a business) and now he wants to wait until after the holidays. I think he is getting cold feet. We know he has a large varicocele but the first step is an SA and I explained that he just needs to turn the sample in and probably won't see the doctor until after holidays anyway. I will be 33 in May and my clock is ticking. A child would bring so much joy to us and I want to start this new journey. We have been ttc 14 months, haven't used any form of birth control in years though. Had 1 early loss beginning of this year. Anything I should say to give him encouragement? Or should I just agree that he do his SA after the holidays
