When did you tell parents?

I will only be about 5 weeks pregnant at Christmas. Just wondering when people let their parents know

Planning to tell parents after the first scan. Still don't know when that will be. 
My first appointment with the midwife is on Wednesday, by the sounds from other ladies here that are in the UK as well my first scan won't be until 12-14 weeks. I'm currently 8 weeks so it will be hard to hide it over Christmas.

We are very close with our parents so we told them 4 days after we knew at our family dinner... it was killing me not to say anything lol... I would totally use Christmas as a cute way to tell them!!! This is our announcement that I gave them in frames as gifts

We waited until after the first ultrasound which was about 10 weeks. 
The timing worked for us because everyone was in town by then for us to do it in person.

I’m going to be 9 weeks. I have my first ultrasound 2 days after Christmas. I’m telling my dad and my husbands grandparents with a present. My excuse it that “it got mailed out late.. i should be by this weekend” 
Both my hubbys mom and my mom know. Everyone else will be told as soon as my dad and his grandparents know.

I told my gran the day I tuck the test. 
She has been on my struggles with me. We both cried with happiness xx
