When is a great time to do a maternity shoot ?

I’m 24 weeks at the moment and have a pretty good size bump already.

I always was told 30-35. 
So you aren’t super miserable(i dont know I’m miserable at 7 weeks) yet but basically got your full bump.

I would wait until around 30-33 weeks so your bump could get bigger and if it doesn’t then oh well you still have one like you said. I wouldn’t go past 33 weeks because that’s when you start to feel really horrible and don’t feel like doing anything plus all your energy is literally taken away from you.. you thought the first trimester was horrible? Ugh, wait until towards the end of third trimester it’s way horrible!

I would do closer to 30weeks. I waited hoping we would get snow and now at 34 weeks I’m on bedrest and in preterm labor

So photographers like to do them when u are "bigger " 30+ weeks...but honestly, it's your bump, find someone who does them and get it done. 
Not to be negative, but I know someone who wanted theirs done before the 30 week "requirement ",, didnt ask around to find someone who would when she wanted them done...ended up losing the baby...to this day she regrets everyday not having pics of her precious bump. 
Long story short, do what you want cause pregnancy only lasts a lil, and heck why not get maternity pics now and then some later when u r closer to ur due date hahaha

I did mine with my son at 30 weeks and wish I would have waited. My belly got so much bigger and cuter. With this pregnancy I’ll do it about 36 weeks.

My photographer said she likes to do them around 30-34 weeks. I’m getting mine done at 31+4.
