So since 3 weeks pregnant I started having pain in my left groin/hip. Ended up in hospital to rule out ectopic pregnancy, they said I had a lot of fluid and a cyst on my left ovary where I ovulated from which they said was totally normal and should go within the first trimester. I had a scan a few days ago to check the baby as they couldn’t see anything at 3 weeks. But The baby was measuring at 7 weeks and he/she had a very strong heartbeat. Since about 4/5 weeks the pain in my left hip/groin near enough went. Sometimes I get the old twinge or dull pain but doesn’t last as long.

BUT - me and my partner had sex this morning and he went in a little too deep and I had a very sharp pain in my left hip. The pain was only when he went in too deep and suddenly stopped after that. He was very gentle after that and there was no problem. After sex, there was no pain or blood. It was just that instant sharp pain.

I was wondering if that’s normal as I still have a bit of fluid left on my left ovary.

And obviously I have a worry of hurting my baby.
