Announcing pregnancy when you're expecting a negative reaction..

I want to tell my SO's side that we are expecting, but I'm worried about their reactions. I have an 8 month old and im 12 weeks pregnant. I know from comments made by my MIL that they would react negatively to this news. (such as gossiping about someone who was pregnant and had a 9 month old and saying we should wait to have more kids) What do I do 😪
