Baby eating enough?

My baby is 6 weeks old and he is eating 2/2.5 oz every 3 hours (sometimes 4 hours and sometimes 2 hours but usually 3 hours). Is this enough?? He just doesn't seem too crazy about eating.......

I’d say if the doctor isn’t worried, you shouldn’t be! As long as he’s gaining weight you’re doing all the right things.

I would say yes. I've never tried to force feed my baby a bottle even if she's asleep. I would rather her "tell" me to make her a bottle.

If there are wet diapers throughout the day and baby is putting on weight than it’s fine.

I would say he should be eating more towards 4oz by 8 weeks. But if your health provider isn’t worried then it’s fine.

Th at what my son ate and he is perfectly happy. At 9 months he finally started drinking 6 oz. At 6 months he reached 4 ozs  a feeding
