Virgin first time protection

Y’all my bf I’ve been w for a year and I just had the sex talk like we’re gonna. (I’m 16, not asking for judgement) and a big part of the convo was protection and not wanting babies obviously😅so I’m jw ab it cuz I’m on the pill but we’d still use a condom. Does anyone have thoughts on whether it’s still necessary to also pull out?
