Pap/First Pregnancy Appointment

I’m due for my Pap Smear and I am going in next week for my first pregnancy appointment (I’ll be 8w5d). Is it safe to get the pap done??
I THINK they did my pap at my first pregnancy appointment with my son but I can’t remember.
