Have a plan to have someone with you - or stay with someone - the first several weeks. You’re going to be exhausted and your hormones will likely be all over the place, and you need a support system.

Birthing? Feeding? Sleep? Relationships? Mental health of mom? Of baby? Mile stones? Financial prep? Pets and babies?

My biggest piece of advice is to remember that you may have a birth plan or an idea of exactly what you want to happen but be open to changes!!! I’ve come across too many women who refuse to change their birth plan and it negatively affect the baby’s or their health. 
My plan was to try to labor in water until I wanted an epidural and then deliver vaginally (obviously more detail). 
I ended up having to have an emergency Csection at 30 weeks and I was in the ICU for 2 days following my sons birth (also 5 days prior). Definitely NOT what I had pictured but if I would have refused the Csection then either my son, myself, or both of us could have died.

I would pick up a copy of What to Expect When youre Expecting! Such a good book, and they also have a website. I thought i knew a lot and still learned so much. Id offer to send you my copy but gave it to another mom on here! Good luck mama!
