So I went in for a check today, a little over 14 weeks with our rainbow baby, because I’ve been having bleeding off and on and we can’t figure out why. Well to start the visit off, she couldn’t find the heartbeat and started getting worried and so did I. She started feeling around for the baby and the left side of my uterus “spasmed” And it HURT. So she said we’re going to ultrasound to check and she found baby all safe and a beautiful heartbeat. Not sure what was going on. But when she was wiping the gel off of my belly, my uterus did it again and it was enough to bring me off of the table. Now it wasn’t a contraction, she knew that and I knew that. But we’re worried because we DONT know what’s causing that or the bleeding so I’m still deemed high risk and have been put on light duty at work for now. I go back in next week for another check and then I’ll be going downstate for a 3-D scan and more tests. Has this happened to anyone else and did they figure out what was wrong? We’re terrified.
