Ive heard the nitrates arent great while pregnant. Just drink or eat something with Vitamin C if it concerns you and make sure it is properly cooked.

I agree that if you cook it thoroughly you should be ok. That said hot dogs have nitrates which aren’t the healthiest for you or the baby so I’d say have a properly cooked hot dog if you want but don’t eat them every day.

Hot dogs are safe to eat during pregnancy, as long as they are cooked over 160 degrees F. Any processed meat, such as hot dogs, salami, or cold cuts, can potentially be contaminated with bacteria during the packaging stage. ... And Listeria is easily killed by cooking the meat thoroughly.
(That's from online, personally I don't eat them cause they are really unhealthy and so processed.)

Just make sure you heat it up so it’s steaming hot. They say don’t, but I have both of my pregnancies and I haven’t had any issues. I believe the issue is when people eat them cold or raw
