So I’m currently dating and plan on marrying my SO. We have been together for almost 2 years and in the beginning of this year I moved 10 hours away from home to follow him to a job opportunity. The problem is where we currently live I have no career opportunities. I have a business degree but there is nothing around here except a prison, dollar general, and the fort service (where my BF works). He wants to stay here for 2-3 years longer to improve his career and I just don’t know if I can do it. I love him so much but I can’t put my life on hold for 3 years. I didn’t go to college to be a fucking cashier at dollar general. I don’t want to be 25 and still making minimum wage. I just don’t know what to do. I’m asking for advice on what to do. Is love worth putting your life on hold? I really want to be with him but I feel like he puts his career before mine and I want to be more successful than just being an entry level employee which is impossible to do here. Idk please just offer some advice. Thanks in advance.
