What do u give in the middle of the night??!!!!

My baby is 14months old on whole milk doing just fine, some nights he will sleep through the night but lately he wakes up for his bottle. I don't know what to do or what to give him to drink, I know too much milk isn't good but then what should I give him to drink bcuz he definitely looks for that bottle to drink to soothe back to sleep. What advice can you share ..

Too much milk isn’t necessarily a bad thing! My son is 15 mos. and his dr said 7-14 oz. is still okay along with other dairy products throughout the day. My son rarely wakes in the middle of the night anymore, but when he does go through tough periods of sleeping we still give him a bottle of about 6-7 oz. and he goes right back to sleep. No need to rush them to grow up so quickly, they will figure it out soon enough. ☺️

We don’t give any fluids during the night. We do let her have her dummy or pacifier in her crib (for now…) Good luck! We are still figuring out how to reduce her bedtime/story time bottle
