Anxiety about IVF
I start the meds for our first mini IVF cycle in about a week with egg retrieval around Sept 14th and I'm becoming anxious about all of it- the meds, the procedure, the waiting, whether it will work, the amount of eggs, how I will do all the testing and still work etc
I dreamt last night that my period came early and I missed this cycle 😏
I'm a nurse and totally type-A so being the patient feels so out of control for me and scary.
I know I ultimately have no control and need to give it to God everyday, but it's a constant struggle for me. Our clinic does FET the next month so we won't know if it worked until the end of Oct- it's the waiting and not knowing that are killing me.
Do any of you have good ways to deal with the fear, anxiety and stress during IVF?
