Question

I’m a civilian and I have a question. If I were figuratively about to finalize a long divorce and still therefore technically are married (legally separated) and I start a relationship with a military member (sexual also), Would that still be considered adultery by military standards if I’m a civilian? Or it doesn’t matter if I’m a civilian or military member it’s considered adultery by military standards regardless? And technically could be punishable in some way?

*I mean punishable to HIM. Like could he get in trouble for having sexual relations with someone technically still married to someone else? Would the military consider it him committing adultery? Thanks!
