Why men wait so long to propose?

I’m going to go out on a limb and ask if you’re having sex. One of a male’s drives is to have sex, and/or companionship. If he’s already receiving both at the amounts he needs, other than being part of his social, cultural, and moral background, why would he change things and marry you?
There’s a horrible expression that was used in the past. It was meant for different things, but it finally came to parallel a man getting sex.
If a man wants milk, he can borrow, rent, or steal the cow. Why does he need to buy it?

Because commiting to spending the rest of your life with someone is kind a a big deal......the real question is, why do some women need a proposal to be satisfied?

Maybe he's not ready or can't afford the ring or lifestyle he wants when he's ready to settle down 🤷‍♀️ if you've been together along time and you want to take the next step maybe you should be straight forward and ask about his intentions.

Every man has his reasons. My husband’s was that we were both in college and we wanted to graduate and get jobs before getting married. He waited until I was in my last semester and he had one more semester to propose. We both worked and lived at home until we got married. We were able to buy a house and start off as financially stable as a couple in their 20s can be. It definitely helped alleviate stress in the early stages.

Honestly for us is the finances, we will be together for two year in April- same month we are expecting our very unplanned but very loved daughter. We wanted to have a small courthouse wedding but we have decided to wait until we graduate and can hold a traditional Indian wedding.
