Im curious if there’s anyone else who was pregnant with twins yet only one survived, and what happens next?

On different ultrasounds (5wk, 6wk) we saw I was pregnant with twins, yet one wasn’t developing well. At 8wk the heart of the one had stopped and s/he was also getting smaller, while the other baby was developing well. Since a few days (now 9w6d) I started bleeding a little bit. It’s really a little and then stops again, yet restarts every day. It’s mostly red blood and I’ve had two small clots and some cramping so I’m really worried. We went in for an ultrasound yesterday, and the one baby left had a strong heartbeat and seemed to be growing well. Yet today I have more cramping..

The doctor thinks it’s probably the sac of the second pregnancy coming out (which was still visible on the US), but she’s not sure.

I’ve had 3 miscarriages before this pregnancy so it’s all pretty nerve-wrecking :-( (but I guess it would be either way). So does anyone have experience with one twin not making it, bleeding and cramping?
